EyeLecture has trained residents and fellows for over a decade. We rebuilt it around three AI capabilities that turn passive video into training that adapts to the person watching.
AI generates a training path per resident, based on their level and their gaps.
Tracks progress and surfaces the weak areas a resident can’t see, then recommends targeted training.
Builds lectures directly from source material, without PPTs or manual slide-building.
Different starting point, different pace, different weak spots. Instead of one fixed course, the AI sequences topics and cases from what each resident already knows toward what they need next.
Like a GPS for clinical training, it recalculates the route every time a resident takes a wrong turn.
The hardest gaps are the ones you don’t notice. Instead of “you got this wrong,” Blind Spot finds the pattern in the mistakes, tells a resident “you consistently misjudge this category of diagnosis”, and recommends the training that closes it.
Academic contributors are ophthalmologists, not video editors. They feed in what they already have and the AI assembles the lecture: structure, narration cues and visuals, ready to record.
